One of the founding partners of CM Solar Electric Inc, Carlos has been instrumental in the direction and growth of the company. As COO he oversees general operations as well as strategic planning.
Carlos has a combined 25 years of experience in system engineering, design and installation. He has managed Electrical and Renewable Energy companies for over 15 years. Prior to CM Solar Electric, Carlos was a founding Partner of Melendez Electric, Inc., an electrical contracting firm with over 75 employees responsible for the rebuilding and renovation of hotels in San Diego’s Little Italy.

- (2021) CM Solar Electric becomes SunPower Certified Installer
- (1999) Carlos achieves California C10 Electrical Contractor License;
- (1999) Melendez Electric, Inc. opens for business serving other businesses on large residential and commercial projects in San Diego;
- (2012) CM Solar Electric opens for business as a Solar Installation Company partnering with other San Diego Solar businesses;
- (2014) CM Solar Electric transitions to end-to-end Solar Consulting, Installation and Service working directly with Southern CA homeowners and commercial building owners
